ON THIS DATE: Daigle chosen as GNAC & ECAC Player of the Week

ON THIS DATE – SJC women's soccer sophomore Danielle Daigle (Dayton, Maine/Thornton Academy) garnered GNAC and ECAC Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career.

Daigle netted three goals, including a pair of game-winners, in a 2-0-1 week for the Monks. The second-year forward scored the game-tying goal with less than three minutes remaining in regulation versus Mount Ida College and logged the clinching goals in victories over Rivier University and Maine-Presque Isle.

At the time Daigle ranked as the Monks' leader in goals (6), points (12) and shots on goal (19) and was tied for the team-lead in game-winning goals (2).

The weekly conference honor was the second of her career, as Daigle earned her first honor with a GNAC Rookie of the Week award on September 12th, 2011.
