STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph's junior golfer Jake Brown (Lewiston, Maine) has been listed on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll.
Brown collect the honor after leading the Monks to a third-place finish with a team-low 79 (40-39) card in the UMF Invitational on September 15th. A second-year member of the Monks' golf squad, the 18-hole score was the lowest of Brown's career.
The weekly honor roll listing is a first for Brown, who competed in six events last fall with a low score of 81 in the UMF Invitational on September 16th, 2010.
Saint Joseph's will compete in the Southern Maine Fall Classic at the Gorham Country Club on Saturday.
