Golfers Place 11th in Hampton Inn Collegiate Invitational

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College competed in the Hampton Inn Collegiate Invitational, hosted by UMass.-Dartmouth, at the Allendale Country Club on Friday and Saturday. The Monks finished 11th with a 662 (330-332) team card.

For the Monks, freshman Adam Hachey (Winthrop, Maine) shot a 161 (83-78), junior Michael Caron (Gorham, Maine) carded a 162 (78-84), freshman Cam Letourneau (Hebron, Maine) posted a 167 (86-81), senior Jason Riley (Dedham, Mass.) registered a 173 (83-90), and sophomore Brandon Labrecque (Gorham, Maine) added a 176 (87-89).

Husson University captured the team title with a 642 (325-317) and Colin Whitney of Nichols College claimed medalist honors with a 148 (74-74) card.

Saint Joseph's concludes the 2016 spring season this weekend with an appearance in the Wildcat Spring Invitational at the Cranston Country Club in Cranston, Rhode Island.
