WATERVILLE, Maine – Saint Joseph's College placed fourth with a 323 team card in the UMaine-Farmington Invitational at the Waterville Country Club on Wednesday. Senior Brandon Lebrecque (Gorham, Maine) led the Monks with a 79 score and finished in a tie for ninth individually.

Junior Adam Hachey (Winthrop, Maine) and sophomore Tyler Johnson (Windham, Maine) tied for 13th with 81 scores, sophomore Brendan Donovan (Auburn, Maine) posted an 82 and tied for 18th, and sophomore Cam Robinson (Hollis Center, Maine) shot a 92 and tied for 33rd.

UMaine-Farmington featured three players in the top four overall, including Medalist Eric Aguiar, who shot a 71, and easily won the event with a 300 team score. University of Southern Maine placed second with a 311 card, University of New England was third (318), and Husson University 'B' placed fifth (330). Maine Maritime (334), Bates College (342), and UMaine-Presque Isle (530) also participated in the event.

Saint Joseph's will play in the State of Maine Championship Saturday and Sunday at the Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
