2022:The junior pitcher started in 18 games, appearing in 22 for the Monks. Putting up a team high 116 innings, while striking out 120 on her way to earning a 10-8 record with a 2.66 era. She threw 9 complete games and held opponents to a .238 average. April 10th against Johnson and Wales, she threw a complete game striking out nine on her way to the win. April 30th, in game one of the doubleheader, she threw a complete game shutout, striking out 13 batters and picking up the win. In the first game of the GNAC tournament, she threw nine innings, allowing three runs and striking out nine in the extra innings win over Rivier. 

2021: Split her time between the mound and first base…pitched in seven games, netting three wins, a team-low 2.50 era, and record 17 strikeouts in 36.1 innings pitched…averaged 3.50 strikeouts per game and held batters to a 1.90 era in conference play…finished last season on April 18th, pitching a complete game, facing 25 batters to lead the Monks to an 11-3 win over the Norwich Cadets.

2020: Appeared in six games from the mound in her 2020 season…topped the team with lowest ERA (3.89), lowest opposing batting average (.212), inning pitched (18.0) and strikeouts on the season (17)… finished her season pitching a complete game on March 6th against Muskingum University, only allowing three hits in seven innings, allowing the Monks to take the close 1-0 win.

Why Saint Joseph's? I really wanted to be in the New England area, so I really like where the school is located. I also wanted to be in a good nursing program and be a part of a competitive softball team.

High School: Played softball and field hockey at Highland School…Three-time First Team All-DAC Conference, DAC Conference Player of the Year, First Team VISAA All-State, two-time Defensive MVP…Helped her team advance to the VISAA quarterfinals all four years…For her career, hit .412 with a .540 OBP along with a 2.83 ERA and 350 strikeouts…Played club for Fauquier Freeze for five years and VA Legends for two years…Highest Honor Roll and member of the National Honor Society…Earned Academic Excellence honors in Environmental Science and Latin.

Community Service: Completed over 60 hours of community service in high school

Personal: Meredith Aliese Pence, daughter of Lisa and Mark Pence…Has one sibling, Hayden.
