STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College added men's and women's skiing to the list of sports offered at the institution. Alpine skiing remains a club sport this year but will be a varsity program starting with the 2019-20 school year. The addition of alpine skiing marks the first time since the 2012-13 academic year that the college has added new varsity sports. That year, St. Joe's introduced men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field as varsity programs.
