STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's (9-21, 2-8) fell to
Regis College (16-15) on Friday evening, 3-0 (12-25, 20-25, 11-25),
at the Harold Alfond Center. Samantha
Varrell '12 (Portsmouth, NH) posted eight assists
and Mary Hoyt '11 (Rochester, NH)
notched three aces in the losing effort.
Katie Boccanelli '12 (Cottonwood,
AL) recorded five kills, Jordan
Pelczar '12 (Meredith, NH) pitched in with six
digs and Kiersten Carbone '12
(North Reading, MA) had five digs in the three-set loss.
Saint Joseph's will wrap up their regular season schedule with a
GNAC tri-match against Johnson & Wales University (3:00 PM) and
Mount Ida College (7:00 PM) on Saturday, November 1st.
