STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's (5-12, 0-3 GNAC) defeated the
University of Maine at Fort Kent in the opening contest of a
tri-match on Saturday, 3-1 (25-9, 13-25, 25-15, 27-25).
Kaliopy Hologitas '12 (Rockland,
MA) recorded eight service aces and 11 digs,
Jordan Pelczar ‘12
(Meredith, NH) had 12 digs and eight kills and
Laurie Boulay ‘12
(Biddeford, ME) registered 15 assists and nine digs in the winning
effort. Sophomore Mary Hoyt
(Rochester, NH) added 13 digs for the Royal Blue.
For the Bengals, Amber Garrison had 13 digs and 12 assists and
Tiffany Crowe chipped in with nine kills and eight digs.
