Saint Joseph's Falls to Regis & Lasell in GNAC Action

NEWTON, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College (7-14, 1-4 GNAC) suffered a pair of losses in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's volleyball tri-match at Lasell University (11-11, 5-1 GNAC) on Saturday. The Monks opened with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-20) loss to Regis College (13-9, 5-2 GNAC) and fell to the host-Lasers, 3-0 (25-10, 25-16, 25-22), in the nightcap.

LEADERS – SAINT JOSEPH'S:

  • Sophomore Maggie Sylvester (Barrington, N.H.) posted seven kills and six digs
  • Freshman Nadia Sixto (Chattanooga, Tenn.) added six kills
  • Senior Hanna Holden (Stoughton, Mass.) chipped in with two kills and 16 assists
  • Freshman Victoria Briones (El Paso, Texas) contributed four kills, two aces, seven digs, and three total blocks

LEADERS – REGIS:

  • Ahnasia Mckinney tallied six kills, 11 assists, two aces, four digs, and three total blocks
  • Kamdyn Tenorio recorded five kills, three aces, and four digs
  • Kaitlyn Miller netted eight assists, two acers, and seven digs

  • Briones led the Monks with six kills and added six digs
  • Holden posted two kills, eight assists, and nine digs
  • Sophomore Sarah Joe (Londonderry, N.H.) tacked on three kills with two digs
  • Sophomore Hanna Webster (Alvin, Texas) added two kills, three assists, and six digs

  • McKenna McCool delivered 12 kills and seven digs
  • Juliana Medini notched 10 kills and three digs
  • Emily VanHouten added eight kills on 10 attempts
  • Sydney Katz recorded 19 assists, two aces, and eight digs
  • Hope McFall chipped in with two kills, five aces, and 14 digs
  • Camila Lopez registered five kills and 12 digs
