STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College senior Sam Holland (Gilmanton, N.H.) has been named as the GNAC Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week.

Holland averaged 5.67 digs per set and added eight service aces in three SJC victories last week. The senior captain picked up 39 total digs in a GNAC tri-match sweep over Norwich and Anna Maria on Friday. Holland netted 12 digs at Husson on Thursday with 18 versus the Cadets and 21 against the AMCATS.

In five matches and 12 sets so far this fall, Holland – who began the season nursing an injury - has notched eight aces and 53 digs at a 4.42 digs per set clip.

For Holland, the GNAC weekly accolade is a career first.

Saint Joseph's (5-5, 2-0 GNAC) will play at Plymouth State University on Tuesday in a non-conference match set to start at 6:00 PM.
