Stacey Gelinas Russo '02

Stacey Gelinas-Russo ’02 is one of the most decorated athletes in the history of Saint Joseph’s College women’s basketball. She garnered four All-Conference honors, three All-State accolades, two Conference Player of the Year awards and an All-America honor during one of the Monks’ most successful four-year spans, as the team posted an impressive 87-20 (.813) record with Gelinas on the floor. Her play helped lead the Monks to the NAIA National Tournament in 2000 and 2001 after capturing MAC and New England crowns both seasons. At the time of her induction, Gelinas ranks third in program history in assists and fifth in points, three-pointers made and steals.
