A terrific two-sport talent, Favreau was an elite shortstop for the Saint Joseph’s softball team and is regarded as one of the pioneers of the Monks’ women’s soccer program
In four years as a starting shortstop, batted .330 (98-297) with 114 runs, seven doubles and 61 RBI and collected All-District and All-State honors in 1988, 1989 and 1990
Played on a pair of Western Maine Athletic Conference championship softball teams (1988, 1990) and helped lead the Monks to the program’s first-ever NAIA New England Championship in 1990
Instrumental in developing a women’s club soccer program, Favreau played a starring role when the side achieved varsity status for her junior and senior years, when she tallied 20 goals and seven assists for 47 total points while earning All-State mention both seasons and All-District honors in 1989
In 1988, led the team with 11 goals and six assists and in 1989 netted nine goals with one assist to help Saint Joseph’s win a Western Maine Athletic Conference title as a second-year varsity program
