One of the first great players to grace the court for the Saint Joseph’s College women’s basketball program, O’Brion was a three-year team captain who capped her career with 894 points and 1,080 rebounds over four seasons
At the time of her induction, ranked second in program history in rebounding average (12.3 RPG) and third in total rebounds and, at the time of her induction, remained as one of just four Saint Joseph’s players to reach the 1,000-rebound mark
As a senior, averaged 14.9 points per game and set the Monks’ single-season rebounds (372) and rebounds per game (15.5) records and earned First Team All-State honors for her efforts
Helped lead Saint Joseph’s to the program’s first two conference titles - Western Maine Athletic Conference championships in 1979 and 1981 - and grabbed 26 boards in a victory over University of Maine-Farmington on March 3, 1982, a single-game record that stood over 30 years later
