Travis hails from Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine where he
played baseball for Greg Paradis.
Travis was a two time Gold Glove Winner for his high school team
and was selected by the Western Maine Board of Umpires as the
recipient of the Harrington Award as the outstanding catcher in his
conference. Travis is a talented receiver with a quick release. He
can also handle the bat and hit for average.
As a freshman for St. Joe’s in 2007 Travis began his career
with a bang hitting .364 as he shared time behind the plate. As a
sophomore Travis struggled to get on track at the plate, but
continued to provide outstanding defensive play behind the plate.
Coach Sanborn looks for Travis to continue to develop as a college
receiver and a key part of the Monks offense.
Travis is the son of Michelle and Kevin Adams of Saco, Maine.
