Mac Seain Picked as MCBSA Pitcher of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Maine College Baseball & Softball Association (MCBSA) weekly accolades have been announced and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Padraig Mac Seain (Brookline, N.H.) has earned MCBSA Pitcher of the Week honors.

Mac Seain pitched six innings of one-run ball to help the Monks top Dean College in GNAC play on Tuesday. Mac Seain scattered four hits while striking out nine to secure the victory on the mound.

In seven appearances this season, Mac Seain is 2-2 with a 5.33 ERA and 25 strikeouts – and only nine walks - in 27 innings. He has allowed just two runs on nine hits with 12 K's in his last 10 innings.

Saint Joseph's will play at Bowdoin College today at 3:45 PM.
