DiPrizio Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been released and Saint Joseph's College freshman Anthony DiPrizio (Rochester, N.H.) has been named as the GNAC Rookie of the Week for the reporting period ending March 13th.

DiPrizio was a bright spot for the Monks last week, hitting .417 (5-12) with two runs, two doubles, and three RBI in six games. The freshman catcher/outfielder went 2-3 with a run, a double, and two RBI in a victory over Ursinus College on Monday.

In seven games – including five starts – so far this spring, DiPrizio is hitting .357 (5-14) with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Saint Joseph's (4-5) is off until Thursday, March 24th when the team kicks off a four-game Florida trip with a twinbill versus St. Olaf.
