STANDISH, Maine - The Saint Joseph's College baseball program will host the 18th Annual Hot Stove Auction on Saturday, January 13 at 1:00 PM at Pearson's Cafe on the campus of Saint Joseph's. Join alumni, parents, family, and friends for an afternoon of baseball banter and competitive bidding as the Monks prepare for the 2024 campaign! This event is free and open to all who have pre-registered!!

We are happy to announce the title sponsor for our live auction will be as Cow Bell Restaurants and Two Greeks Ventures - of which former baseball standout Alex Markakis '14 is a co-owner.

Head Coach Will Sanborn '86 will kick off the day with a brief preview of the season and introduction of the team and coaching staff. President Joe Cassidy will also speak to the Monk's faithful. Many appealing auction items will be available for bidding, including tickets for sporting events, memorabilia, gift cards, gift baskets, vacation packages and much, much more.

The Monks kick off the 2024 campaign with a nine-game slate in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational during the College's spring break, which begins on Saturday, March 9th.

All proceeds from the raffles, silent auction, and live auction will go towards the cost of the Monks' spring trip, operational needs, and field improvements. Auction items are plentiful, and the list promises to be one of the most interesting to date!

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the following afternoon 1/14 at 12:00 PM in the SJC Dining Hall, Pearson's Cafe.
