STANDISH, Maine – Head Coach Bill Cosentino has announced the men's lacrosse recruiting Class of 2024.
Cosentino, who will be in his fifth as the Monks' clipboard carrier when the 2021 season begins next spring, is bringing in another outstanding group of athletes into the fold. His fourth recruiting class - which consists of 11 players from six different states with six midfielders, three defenders, and a pair of attacks – figures to help build on the winning culture Cosentino has established in short order.
During a truncated 2020 campaign, the Monks went 3-1 with victories over Nichols College (10-6), Husson University (18-4), and Houghton (19-7).
"We are very excited to welcome this incredible group of incoming freshmen and our graduate student to our men's lacrosse program," adds Coach Cosentino. "These men were proven leaders at their high schools and demonstrated excellence in the classroom. We are eager for them to help continue the strong culture that we have built here over the last few years and coupled with the committed returners that we have, lead us to the top of the GNAC."
