Goodfellow Earns First Career GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been released and Saint Joseph's College junior Tim Goodfellow (Wayland, Mass.) has been picked as the GNAC Men's Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week.

Goodfellow tallied seven goals and 19 assists for a total of 26 points in a 1-1 week for the Monks. The junior attack enjoyed a career day in a 29-13 win at Southern Maine on Wednesday, tying the NCAA DIII record with 15 assists and breaking the Monks' single-game points record (8) after netting three goals. He also surpassed the 100-career point plateau in the lopsided triumph. Goodfellow also scored four goals with four assists in a hard-fought 17-14 setback at Emmanuel on Saturday.

Through nine games this spring, Goodfellow has scored 20 goals with 32 assists for 52 total points. He currently leads the GNAC in assists and points and ranks third in shots on goal (49) and seven in goals.

Goodfellow shares the weekly award with Johnson & Wales University senior Mike Catuosco (Commack, N.Y.), who won 84% of his face-offs (36-of-43) as part of a 2-0 week for the Wildcats.

For Goodfellow, the GNAC weekly award is the first of his career.

Saint Joseph's will host Lasell University this afternoon at 4:00 PM.
