Goodfellow Breaks Monks' All-Time Points Record

STANDISH, Maine – Senior attack Tim Goodfellow (Wayland, Mass.) became the all-time points leader for the men's lacrosse program during a win over Emmanuel College in the team's regular-season finale at the SJC Athletics Complex on Wednesday evening.

Goodfellow entered the game with 208 points, just shy of the previous record of 210 held by former standout Michael Finn '19, and tied the mark with an assist on an Xavier Michaud (Wales, Maine) goal with 6:05 left in the third quarter. Goodfellow proceeded to break the five-year-old record when he scored at the 11:30 mark of the fourth quarter, a goal that lifted the hosts to an 11-5 lead.

Goodfellow capped the contest with two goals and three assists and now has 213 points (109G, 104A) in just 49 career games. Finn tallied 210 points (169G, 41A) in 67 games over four seasons.

Goodfellow, who entered the game tied for the Monks' career assists record (101, Puleo '21), became the program's all-time leader in helpers with the dime on a Tiger Hopkins (Leeds, Maine) tally with 7:18 left in the second quarter.

For his career, Goodfellow has scored at least one point in 46 of 48 games since he arrived at St. Joe's as a freshman. The senior standout, who missed the entire 2021 season with an injury, has netted at least one point in 46-consecutive contests.

Among active NCAA DIII men's lacrosse players, Goodfellow currently ranks 25th in assists per game (2.17), 28th in points per game (4.44), and 34th in total assists (104).
