Foley Earns Second Consecutive GNAC Weekly Honor

STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly accolades have been released and Saint Joseph's College junior Liam Foley (Middleton, Mass.) has been selected as the GNAC Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week for the second consecutive reporting period.

Foley allowed one goal and made eight saves in a 2-0 conference week for Saint Joseph's. The junior keeper made six saves, including a diving stop on a PK attempt, in a 1-0 victory at Anna Maria College on Friday.

Through six games this fall Foley sports a 0.50 goals against average with a .893 save percentage and a 4-1-1 record. He has yielded three goals and made 25 saves in 540 minutes between the pipes.

Foley currently leads the conference in minutes, wins, and shutouts (3) and ranks second in the GNAC in save percentage and goals against average.

Saint Joseph's will host Emmanuel College on Tuesday in a GNAC matchup slated to start at 6:00 PM.
