Women's Lacrosse Class of 2027 Announced

STANDISH, Maine – Head Coach David Keenan is pleased to announce the women's lacrosse class of 2027.

Coach Keenan, who is about to begin his fifth year as the Monks' leader, is bringing in seven players from three different states – including an attacker, two midfielders, two defenders, and a pair of goalies – to the program, which has posted a 46-8 (.852) overall record with a 27-2 (.931) mark in conference play since Keenan took the reins in 2020.

Saint Joseph's posted a 16-4 overall record with a 12-1 mark in conference play under Keenan's watch last spring. As the #2 seed in the GNAC Tournament, the Monks disposed of #7 Norwich University by a 21-2 score and #3 Simmons University, 11-5, before falling short of defending the 2022 GNAC Championship with a hard-fought 10-6 loss at top-seeded Johnson & Wales University on May 6th.

"We are thrilled to welcome another special group of student-athletes to our program," adds Keenan. "We are confident they will contribute to our success both in the classroom and on the lacrosse field."
