Men Finish Fourth, Women 10th at Plymouth State

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Saint Joseph's College Indoor Track & Field teams competed at Plymouth State University this Saturday. The St. Joe's men finished fourth with 44 points and the SJC women placed 10th with 19 points.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:

  • Freshman Ricky Reyes (Worcester, Mass.)  finished 2nd in the 400-Meter dash (53.74); he also made his debut in the 200 placing 12th (25.08)
  • Sophomore Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) placed 2nd in the Mile (4:39); he ran the 800-Meter run placing 12th (2:10.68)
  • Junior Michael Mason (East Bridgewater, Mass.)  ran the 600 for 3rd place (1:30.06)
  • Freshman Devin Abbott (Berwick, Maine) ran the 5000 Meter run placing 4th overall (18:31.04)
  • Freshman Simon Vinci (Peabody, Mass.) placed 4th in the Shot Put (13.15m); he also broke his previous school record in the Weight Throw placing 7th (13.48m)
  • Junior Lance Santeusanio III (North Berwick, Maine) placed 7th in the 400 (55.28); he also finished 8th in the High Jump (1.75m) and placed 10th in the Long Jump (5.74m)
  • Sophomore Tyler Nadeau (Farmingdale, Maine) made his college debut placing 7th in the 200-Meter Dash (24.51), and finished 9th in the 60-Meter Dash (7.46)
  • Sophomore Jacob Huberdeau (Atkinson, N.H.) ran the mile and  placed 21st (4:53.99)
  • Junior Brandon Whitlock (Westbrook, Maine) ran the Mile placing 26th (5:01.12) and also placed 19th in the 800-Meter run (2:15.96)
  • Santeusanio, Mason, Hendricks, Reyes placed 4th in the 4x400 relay (3:44.88)

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:

  • Sophomore Samantha VanDeMoere (Thornton, N.H. ) finished 3rd in the 800-Meter run (2:30.34).
  • Sophomore Kaylee Todisco (Wilmington, Mass.) placed 6th in the 60-Meter dash (8.38) and also finished 6th in the 200 (28.37).
  • Freshman Kelsey Kennedy (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) finished 8th in the Mile (5:37.43); she also ran the 800 (2:36.23) placing 11th.
  • Junior Marissa Hoffman (Waterbury, Vt.) placed 10th in the 400-Meter dash (1:09.33).
  • Senior Marisa Quirion (Gardiner, Maine) had her comeback race in the 3000 Meter run (12:15.79) finishing in 12th.
  • Senior Lillian Bisset (Jefferson, Maine) ran the 60-Meter Hurdles (10.57) finishing in 7th; she also did the long jump (4.28m) placing 10th.
  • Junior Cassidy Lee (Sullivan, Maine ) broke the school record in the Triple Jump (9.61m) placing 10th.
  • Sophomore Dori LeMoine (Swan's Island, Maine) threw in the Shot Put (9.02m) placing 19th; she also competed in the Weight Throw (10.97m) finishing in 13th.
  • Freshman Kimberly Moulton (Franklin, Mass.) threw in the shot put (7.79m) placing 27th.
  • Colson, Hoffman, Kennedy, and VanDeMoere placed 5th in the 4x400 relay (4:46.66)

Saint Joseph's will compete at the first-ever GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championship at Boston University next Sunday.
