Monks Compete at Southern Maine

GORHAM, Maine – Saint Joseph's College kicked off the 2022 calendar year with a stint at the University of Southern Maine Invitational II on Saturday.

THE RUNDOWN – MEN:

  • Sophomore Ryan Farr (Gorham, Maine) won the 400-Meter Dash (51.72) and 200-Meter Dash (23.58)
  • Senior Tyler Nadeau (Farmingdale, Maine) won the 600-Meter Run (1:32.88)
  • Senior Jacob Huberdeau (Atkinson, N.H.) placed second with a 17:41.97 time in the 5000-Meter Run
  • Senior Troy Hendricks (Hiram, Maine) raced to a second-place finish in the 1-Mile Run (4:49.40)
  • Sophomore Nick Carmosino (Acton, Mass.) finished third in the 600-Meter Run (1:38.11) and 3000-Meter Run (11:13.51)
  • Sophomore Wesley Hundley (Kennebunk, Maine) finished third in the Shot Put (10.18m) and 200-Meter Dash (25.39) and fourth in the 55-Meter Dash (7.27)
  • Senior Shawn Breen (Plymouth, N.H.) placed third in the 55-Meter Hurdles (10.31) and fifth in the 55-Meter Dash (7.55)
  • Junior Mardoche Kikobo (Kinshasa, DRC) was third in the 55-Meter Dash (7.06)
  • Freshman Ryan Graham (Hopkinton, N.H.) placed third in the 1000-Meter Run (2:56.63) and fourth in the 1-Mile Run (4:56.87)
  • Freshman Jesse Tidd (Portland, Maine) placed fourth in the 200-Meter Dash (27.26)
  • Freshman Ethan Shaw (Scarborough, Maine) was fourth in the 600-Meter (1:42.01)
  • Junior Devin Abbott (Berwick, Maine) was fourth in the 5000-Meter Run (18:35.97) and fifth in the 1000-Meter Run (3:08.26)
  • Hundley, Kikobo, Nadeau, and Farr won the 4x200 Meter Relay (1:40.17)

THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:

  • Senior Samantha VanDeMoere (Thornton, N.H.) won the 400-Meter Dash (1:11.98) and finished third in the Long Jump (4.04m) and 800-Meter Run (2:46.97)
  • Senior Emma Allen (Jefferson, Maine) won the 55-Meter Hurdles (10.68) and finished fourth in the 1-Mile Run (6:09.10)
  • Senior Carly Jordan (Turner, Maine) placed second in the 1000 Meter Dash (3:51.57)
  • Junior Kimberly Moulton (Franklin, Mass.) placed third in the shot put (8.54m) and fourth in the Weight Throw (9.29m)
  • Junior Caitlin Kendrick (Richmond, Maine) was third in the 1-Mile Run (6:07.55) and fourth in the 3000-Meter Run (12:17.68)
  • Senior Julie Unczur (Danvers, Mass.) was fourth in the Shot Put (8.09m) and Long Jump (3.51m) events
  • Freshman Lindy Hyndman (Auburn, Maine) placed fourth in the 55-Meter Dash (8.04)
  • Senior Kaylee Todisco (Wilmington, Mass.) finished fifth in the 55-Meter Dash (8.05)
