STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Indoor Men's Track & Field weekly honors have been released and, for the second consecutive week, three Monks have earned accolades.

Senior Ryan Farr (Gorham, Maine) has claimed GNAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors for the second straight week, freshman Tudum Monday (Lewiston, Maine) is the GNAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week, and freshman Jacob Schmader (Limington, Maine) has collected GNAC Men's Track Rookie of the Week accolades.

The trio of SJC athletes claim weekly conference awards for their performances in the Suffolk University Icebreaker Invitational, which was held at THE TRACK by New Balance in Boston on Saturday. In addition to top NCAA DIII foes MIT, Southern Maine, and Suffolk, the Monks also faced off against many DI and DII institutions from the New England Region, including UConn., UMass.-Lowell, Assumption, Adelphi, Sacred Heart, and Franklin Pierce.

Farr placed tenth in the 400m dash with a mark of 51.88 (second best time in the GNAC this season) with the majority of those finishing ahead of him hailing from Division I and II programs. Farr also placed 11th in the 200-meter dash with a 22.66 effort.

Monday placed fifth in the Triple Jump (12.67m), 17th in the Long Jump (6.10m), and 23rd in the 60m Hurdles (9.32) on Saturday. The GNAC weekly award is the second of Monday's career.

Schmader also collects his second GNAC honor after posting the fastest 400-Meter time (51.15) of any D3 runner and placing seventh overall at the Suffolk Icebreaker. The effort ranks as the best time in the GNAC so far this season. The freshman standout also placed 31st in the 200-Meter with a 23.28 performance.

Saint Joseph's will compete in the Panther Invitational next Saturday. Hosted by Plymouth State University, the event will take place at the Bank of New Hampshire Field House and starts at 10:00 AM.
