NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI - The Saint Joseph's College Golf team capped their 2007 season with a third place finish at the GNAC Championship Tournament. Johnson and Wales University took first place with a score of 619, U. Mass Dartmouth was second with 622 and the Monks ended the two-day tourney with a score of 633.
Three Monks golfers finished in the top ten overall. SR Francois Renaud (E. Middlebury, VT) earned a 5th place finish, 13 over par (153), to pace the Monks in the tournament. SO Steve Sands (Westbrook, ME) came in 8th (+15, 155) and SO Matthew Cotreau (Lunenburg, MA) battled to a tie for 9th place (+18, 158).
