STANDISH, ME - The Great Northeast Athletic
Conference has announced that Saint Joseph's College junior
Matt Cotreau (Lunenburg, MA) has
been named as the conference Golfer of the Week.
Cotreau fired a four-over par round of 73 to
capture medalist honors at the University of New England
Invitational for the second consecutive season. The event was
played at the Cape Arundel Golf Club in Kennebunkport, ME on
September 5th.
St. Joe's finished the tournament in third place with a total of
313 strokes.
The SJC golfers will take to the links today at the Terrier
Invitational hosted by Thomas College and will participate in the
Brunswick Invitational hosted by Bowdoin College on September 13th
and 14th.
