VASSALBORO, ME - Saint Joseph's College earned a fifth place
finish in the State of Maine Championships held at the Natanis Golf
Course in Vassalboro, ME on September 19th and 20th with a total of
680 strokes in the event. Senior Andy
LeConte (York, ME) paced the Monks with a 157
score (80/77), just five shots off the pace of Medalist Chris Hamel
from Husson University, who scored a 152 (77/75) in the tourney.
The Eagles won the event with a team score of 625.
Saint Joseph's will host the John Queenan Memorial Tournament on
Tuesday, September 23rd at 11:00 AM.
