BOOTHBAY, ME - The University of New England men's golf team
broke Husson's six-year stranglehold on the Maine State Collegiate
Golf Championship, claiming the crown by two strokes with a two-day
score of 638 at Boothbay Golf Club. Colby's Tripp Huber and
Southern Maine's Aiden Bryce shared medalist honors with a two-day
total of 150 apiece.
Husson finished at 640 and failed to win the crown for the first
time since 2003, when Southern Maine claimed the title.
