Another GNAC Rookie Honor for Caron

STANDISH, ME – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been announced and Saint Joseph's College freshman Michael Caron (Gorham, Maine) has been selected as the GNAC Golf Rookie of the Week for the second-consecutive reporting period.

Caron won the Monks' annually-hosted event, the John Queenan Memorial Tournament, with a 74 card on Tuesday afternoon. The freshman is the first Saint Joseph's College linker to claim medalist honors at the event, which has been hosted by the SJC Golf program for the last 11 years.

Saint Joseph's will compete in the University of New England Invitational at the Arundel Country Club on Tuesday.
