STANDISH, Maine – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors have been announced and Saint Joseph's College sophomore Cam Letourneau (Hebron, Maine) has been named as the GNAC Corvais Golfer of the Week.
Letourneau shot an even-par 72 to claim his third career medalist honor and led the Monks to a top finish in the John Queenan Memorial Tournament on Tuesday. He is the second SJC player in as many weeks to collect a conference honor as sophomore Adam Batchelder (Portland, Maine/Cheverus) earned the same accolade last week.
For Letourneau, the weekly conference honor is the seventh of his career. The second-year standout earned a pair of GNAC Golfer of the Week awards with four GNAC Rookie of the Week honors last fall.
Saint Joseph's College will compete in the Maine-Farmington Invitational at the Waterville Country Club today at 10:00 AM.
