BREWSTER, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College placed 12th with a 654 (318-336) team card in the 84th Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship at The Captains Course on Monday.
After finishing tied for seventh with a 318 card on Sunday, the Monks dropped five spots with a 336 score on Monday. Johnson & Wales University, the 2018 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) champion, was the only GNAC team to finish ahead of Saint Joseph's.
Babson College claimed the team title with a 613 (313-300) card and Middlebury College's Reid Buzby earned Medalist honors with a 145 (73-72) score.
For Saint Joseph's, senior Cam Letourneau (Hebron, Maine) tied for 30th (160, 76-84), junior Tyler Johnson (Windham, Maine) tied for 48th (163, 79-84), senior Adam Batchelder (Portland, Maine/Cheverus) tied for 59th (165, 80-85), senior Adam Hachey (Winthrop, Maine) tied for 75th (168, 83-85), and junior Brendan Donovan (Auburn, Maine) tied for 84th (171, 88-83).
