McDonough Earns All-Conference Honors

STANDISH, Maine – Saint Joseph's College sophomore Sean McDonough (Concord, N.H.) earned All-Conference accolades after tying for second in the 2021 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Golf Championship at the Granite Links Golf Club on Monday.

McDonough notched the second-lowest score of the day with an 83 (45-38) and, as one of the top five finishers in the conference championship, automatically earns All-Conference honors. His 38 card on the back nine was topped by just one individual – Medalist Ryan Sember of Albertus Magnus College, who shot a 32 on the second nine and finished the day with a two-under 69 overall.

Saint Joseph's finished as the runner-up in the GNAC Championship with a 343 team card, 23 strokes behind conference champion Albertus Magnus College, which posted a 320 en route to claiming the GNAC's automatic qualifier into the 2021 NCAA DIII Men's Golf Championship.
