2021: Played and started in seven games as a junior goalkeeper…got her first win of the season on Mar. 13th at Gordon College where she had five saves in the 17-6 win…had four saves vs Norwich University defeating the GNAC team 17-6…three days later in the 16-3 victory had a pair of saves at Thomas College…had a game high of 15 saves on Apr. 7th at Simmons College, winning 15-6…had ten saves at Johnson & Wales University on Apr. 17th…three days later recorded four saves in the 18-7 win at Norwich University.

2020: Played and started in all five games as a sophomore goalkeeper…had 42 saves on the season with four wins…her game high of 16 saves came on Mar. 7th at University of Southern Maine.

2019: Played in 17 games and started in 12 of them as a freshman goalie...spent 794 minutes in net...had 123 saves with a save percentage of .475...also hauled in 21 groundballs...opened her collegiate career with nine saves against John Carroll on March 5th...had 12 saves in a 15-10 win against Norwich on March 30th...had 23 saves against Johnson and Wales on April 13th.

High School: Played lacrosse and field hockey at Lake Region High School…Earned All-Academic honors and a member of the National Honor Society…Also played club field hockey for Maine Styx.

Personal: Madelyn Mattea-Rose Nelson, daughter of Jessica and Travis Nelson…Sister to Benjamin and Nicholas.
