Standish, ME - Saint Joseph's College continued
their busy weekend by playing host to GNAC opponents Lasell College
and Simmons College in a Tri-match on Sunday. The Monks played the
Lasell College Lasers in the first match and lost 3-0. FY Mary Hoyt
(Rochester, NH) notched 16 digs and SO Monique Lajoie (Nashua, NH)
recorded 16 assists in the effort.
St. Joe's faced the Simmons College Sharks in the second match and
fell, 3-1. FY Mary Hoyt played very well and paced the Monks with
19 digs while adding 7 kills. SR Brooke Perry (Biddeford, ME)
chipped in with 11 digs and 6 kills. SO Monique Lajoie finished
with 12 assists in the match.
Saint Joseph's College (4-22, 0-11 GNAC) travels to UM-Farmington
on Tuesday 10/23 to take on the Beavers. Game time is 7:00 PM.
