NEW LONDON, N.H. – Saint Joseph's College (8-13, 5-5 GNAC) held off Colby-Sawyer College (5-17, 3-6 GNAC), 3-2 (25-19, 25-14, 19-25, 19-25, 15-13), in a hard-fought Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's volleyball match on Wednesday night.
LEADERS – SAINT JOSEPH'S:
- Sophomore Nadia Sixto (Chattanooga, Tenn.) posted 10 kills, two aces, seven digs, and three block assists
- Junior Hanna Webster (Alvin, Texas) delivered eight kills, two aces, five digs, and six total blocks
- Sophomore Victoria Briones (El Paso, Texas) notched eight kills and 25 digs
- Freshman Larisa Comolli (Nashua, N.H.) delivered seven kills and a pair of block assists
- Freshman setter Tamya Johnson (Boston, Mass.) notched 26 assists and 13 digs
- Senior Abby Jerome (Barrington, N.H.) added 17 digs and a pair of kills
- Sophomore Heather Darby (Shrewsbury, Mass.) tacked on five kills while appearing in just one set
LEADERS – COLBY-SAWYER:
- Katie Mollberg recorded 13 kills and eight digs
- Delaney Skourtis posted 13 kills and six digs
- Ari Cuevas chipped in with eight kills, three aces, and three digs
- Brooke Patnode dealt four kills and 34 assists with 18 digs and a pair of block assists
- Audra Fontes led all players with 34 digs
