STANDISH, ME - Volleyball Head Coach John Raza has
announced the 2007 Volleyball team award winners.
Sophomore Monique Lajoie (Nashua, NH) has been
named as the team's Most Valuable Player. Freshman Mary
Hoyt (Rochester, NH) was honored as the Rookie of the Year
after posting a solid opening campaign. Hoyt also earned the Top
Server Award after finishing the year averaging 1.17 service aces
per game, good for fifth in the country!
Freshman Lindsay McCarthy (Waterville, ME) was
named as the team's Most Improved Player and junior Amanda
Ruel (Biddeford, ME) was honored with the GNAC
Sportsmanship Award.
