BOSTON, MA - The Saint Joseph's (13-13, 3-5 GNAC) Volleyball lost to Simmons (10-13, 4-3), 13-25, 16-25, 22-25, and fell to Rivier (15-10, 5-1), 17-25, 20-25, 18-25, on Saturday in a conference tri-match at the Holmes Sports Center on the campus of Simmons College.
Sarah Hawkes '13 (Pownal, ME) recorded 15 kills, 18 digs and 5 total blocks in the twinbill and Kiah Begley '13 (Berwick, ME/St. Thomas Aquinas) had 29 assists and 11 digs in the two matches. Caitlin Cleary '13 (Scarborough, ME) added 14 digs and 7 kills and Leocadya Koziski '13 (Peabody, MA) netted 6 kills and 9 digs on the day.
Hawkes recorded a .615 hitting percentage in the opener against Simmons and continued her high level of play with a .500 success rate against Rivier.
Saint Joseph's will host University of Maine-Farmington in a non-conference match on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
