STANDISH, ME – Kiah Begley ’13 (Berwick, ME/Saint Thomas Aquinas) and Sarah Coffey ’14 (Hanover, MA) have been listed on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.
Begley enjoyed a fine opening week for the SJC Volleyball team, which is off to a 2-2 start to the 2010 campaign. The sophomore setter registered 70 assists in four matches and dealt 24 helpers in a 3-2 victory over Wentworth Institute on September 4th. For her efforts in the Wheaton College Invitational Tournament over the weekend, Begley garnered All-Tournament honors.
Coffey, a first-year left-side hitter, notched 22 kills, 15 digs and eight total blocks in her first four NCAA contests. She registered eight kills, three aces and four total blocks in a 3-1 victory over Southern Maine on September 1st.
St. Joe's will host Wentworth Institute in the SJC Autumn Invitational opener on Friday, September 10th at 6:00 PM.
