2012: Played in all 30 matches and 104 of 106 sets as a senior setter…selected as a team captain…paced the Royal Blue in assists (843), assists per set (8.11) and service aces (56)…set the Monks’ single-season record for assists and assists per set…ranked third in the conference in assists per set and fifth in service aces per set (0.54)…collected Second Team All-GNAC honors…set new program records for single-match and five-set assists with 48 versus University of New England on September 13th…registered a fine performance with 24 digs and 36 assists in a 3-2 loss at the hands of Lasell College on September 29th…tallied 45 assists and 17 digs in a 3-2 triumph over Simmons College on October 13th…became the second player in SJC volleyball history to notch 1,000 digs with her ninth dig in the match versus the Sharks…broke the Saint Joseph’s three-set assists mark when she posted 36 helpers against Emmanuel College on October 17th…tallied 44 assists with 12 digs and four kills in the Monks’ first-ever victory over Emerson College on October 27th…capped her career as the program’s all-time leader in sets (416), matches (121), assists (2988) and assists per set (7.2)…leaves the program ranked second all-time in digs (1096) and fourth in attack percentage (.186), aces (230) and digs per set (2.6). 

2011: Played in 30 matches with 24 starts…appeared in 105 total sets as a junior…tallied program single-season records with 798 assists and 7.6 assists per set…recorded a career-high 84 kills…paced the Royal Blue in serving percentage (.934) and ranked second on the squad in service aces (58)…registered the third most digs (347)… notched a season-high 44 assists in a three-set match against Lasell College on October 1st…tallied a team-high 20 double-doubles including two 30-20 games: one on September 14th against Rhode Island College (38 assists, 23 digs) and another on September 17th against Mount Ida (35 assists, 25 digs)…added a 30-30 performance on October 22nd against Norwich (36 assists, 36 digs)…heads into her final collegiate campaign as the Monks’ all-time leader in assists (2,145) and assists per set (6.9)…currently ranks second in career attack percentage (.193) and digs (803) and fourth in aces (174)…also is sixth in career matches (91) and seventh in sets played (312). 

2010:  played in 29 matches as a sophomore setter…ranked second on the team in sets played with 98…registered 64 kills on 176 attempts…paced the Royal Blue with a .284 attack percentage…averaged over 6.5 assists per match and led the team with 644 assists…ranked fifth in the GNAC in assists per game…was the team leader in service aces with 56 and ranked second on the squad in digs with 219…also had six blocks…registered 10 double-doubles…matched a career-high with six kills versus Maine-Farmington on September 28th…posted a season-best 42 assists against Lasell College on September 18th…recorded 16 digs, a season-high, against Suffolk on October 9th…listed on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on September 6th.

2009: Played in 109 sets…set single season records for assists (703) and assists per game (6.45)…holds the individual assist game record recording 45 assists against Green Mountain College on September 12th…was tied for team lead in service aces(60), and third on the team in digs (237)…garnered GNAC Rookie of the Week honors on September 7…listed on the conference weekly honor roll on October 12th…recorded a double-double with assists and digs in 7 contests…had double-digit assists in 29 matches…collected 26 assists, 6 digs, and 6 service aces in her first collegiate match on September 2nd against cross-town rival USM…tallied 39 assists, 5 kills, and 5 digs on September 5th against Regis College…recorded 25 assists and 12 digs against UMF on September 23rd…tallied 41 assists and 26 digs against conference opponent Lasell on October 3rd…wrapped up the season recording double digit assists in the last 9 matches of the season.

High School: Played three years of varsity volleyball for Head Coach Kristie Holtz at St. Thomas Aquinas High School...made Division II All-State team as a junior and All-State First Team as a senior.

Personal: Kiah Danielle Begley, born on February 18th, 1991 in Dover, New Hampshire....daughter of Dineen and Thomas Begley...majoring in Exercise Science.

Why she chose Saint Joseph’s College: “Because of the small community, the pretty campus and volleyball.”
