2012: Played in 29 matches and 101 of 106 sets as a junior libero…selected as a team captain…broke the program’s single-season digs and digs per set records for the second-consecutive year with 451 digs and 4.5 DPS…ranked third in the conference with 4.47 digs per set and fourth in the GNAC in digs…added 49 kills, 31 assists and 41 service aces on the season…put up five kills, four aces and 19 digs to help the Monks defeat Maine Maritime, 3-1, on September 1st…notched a personal-best 34 digs in a loss to Johnson & Wales University  on October 6th…added 26 digs to help Saint Joseph’s top Mount Ida College, 3-2, two days later…recorded 26 digs and four aces in the Monks’ first-ever victory over Emerson College on October 27th…tied a team three-set record with 24 digs in a GNAC Tournament loss at the hands of Johnson & Wales on October 31st...heads into her season campaign as the Monks’ all-time leader in digs per set (3.6) and currently ranks third in program history with 965 career digs.

2011: Played in 28 matches and 100 sets…led the team with 68 aces - the 11th-highest single-season total in program history…shattered the SJC single-season record with 398 digs and climbed up to 8th on the all-time list in the category…broke the Monks’ single-season and all-time records in digs per set with 4.0 and 3.0, respectively…recorded a career-high 33 digs against Lasell College on October 1st…notched a career-high 11 kills against Norwich on October 22, a match in which she recorded her first career double-double (11 kills, 17 digs). 

2010: The only SJC player to appear in all 31 matches…notched 64 kills on 234 attempts…ranked fifth among SJC rookies with 18 service aces…registered 116 digs, 37 assists, 18 service aces and 11 total blocks…recorded a season-high 12 digs against Albertus Magnus on October 23rd.

High School: Played one year of junior varsity volleyball for Debbie Rawlins at DeLand High School…played four years on the travel team at Florida Elite Volleyball Club ...qualified for regionals all four years and nationals for three years.

Personal: Erica Michelle Russi, born on July 10, 1992 in Orlando, Florida ...daughter of Ronald and Deborah Russi ... majoring in International Business. 

Why she chose Saint Joseph’s College: “Other than the sports, St. Joe’s has a beautiful campus and the small classes really help me stay focused.”

What she does outside of volleyball: Goes to the beach.
