SJC Volleyball to Host "Dig Pink" Event

STANDISH, ME – The Saint Joseph's College volleyball program will host its annual "Dig Pink" event when the Monks host the Eagles of Husson University at 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening.

All fans in attendance are encouraged to join the SJC volleyball team in adorning pink attire in support of the "Dig Pink" initiative, a national event held every October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month – by the Side-Out Foundation. "Dig Pink" is hosted each year by middle school, high school, and collegiate teams across the nation to help increase awareness and raise donations in support of breast cancer research.

In an effort to support the worthy cause, the team will charge a nominal fee ($3) for non-students to attend and all gate proceeds, as well as donations collected during the match, will go to the Side-Out Foundation, which contributes funds to organizations that serve breast cancer patients, whether it is in the form of research, medical services or compassionate support.
