2010 ECAC Women's Cross Country Championship

BRISTOL, RI – The SJC Women's Cross Country team placed 28th with 790 points in the 2010 ECAC Championship 6K at Colt State Park on Saturday. Danielle Cusack '13 (Portland, ME/Deering) was the first Monks' runner to cross the line and placed 89th with a 25:41.4 performance.

Middlebury captured top team honors with 21 points, as the Panthers placed five runners in the top seven overall. Williams finished as the runner-up with 72 points, narrowly topping Amherst, which placed third with 73 points.

Franciscan freshman Nicole Krajewski collected individual top honors with a 22:21.1 effort and was followed by a quartet of Middlebury runners, including runner-up senior Amanda Lee, who was just two seconds off the pace.

Katie Murphy '11 (Baileyville, ME) (124th, 26:28), Ashley Condon '13 (Sumner, ME) (171st, 27:33), Laura Mills '13 (Mattapoisett, MA) (198th, 28:02), Allison Pearsall '12 (West Newbury, MA) (234th, 29:21) and Lauren Tidd '13 (Walpole, MA) (266th, 32:22) all competed in the annual event for the Monks.
