STANDISH, ME - Saint Joseph's cross country freshman Amber Dostie (Standish, Maine/Bonny Eagle) has garnered GNAC Rookie and Runner of the Week honors.
Dostie posted an impressive 19:32 effort to garner runner-up honors at the 5K Rivier Invitational on Friday. The first-year runner was the fastest DIII athlete at the event by over a minute in what was her first collegiate cross country meet. Also, her 5K performance ranks as the second-best in program history.
Saint Joseph's will participate in the Keene State College Invitational on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
