Saint Joseph's Set to Host 2023 MPA Baseball & Softball South Regional Championships

STANDISH, Maine - Saint Joseph's College will serve as a host site for the 2023 Maine Principals' Association (MPA) baseball and softball regional championship games on Wednesday, June 14th. The complete schedule is listed below.

South Regional Baseball Championships at Saint Joseph's College (Larry Mahaney Diamond)

Wednesday, June 14:

Class B: #2-Yarmouth (13-5) vs. #1-Cape Elizabeth (14-3-1), 6:30 PM

Class D: #3-St. Dominic (12-5) vs. #1-Searsport (14-3), 3:00 PM

South Regional Softball Championships at Saint Joseph's College (Richard W. Bailey Field)

Wednesday, June 14:

Class B: #3-Lake Region (14-4) vs. #1-York (17-1), 3:30 PM

Class D: #2-Searsport (11-5) vs. #1-North Yarmouth Academy (16-1), 7:00 PM

 

Ticket prices (set by the MPA): $10 for adults - $5 for students and senior citizens (65 and older).

Seating Capacity:

Larry Mahaney Diamond – 1,000 bleacher seating with ample space for lawn chairs on the hill down the right field line

Richard W. Bailey Field – 300 bleacher seating with room for lawn chairs on the hill down the left field line

Concessions:

Portland Pie Company of Windham will be the 2023 MPA baseball and softball regional championships concessions provider at Saint Joseph's College.
