Kevin Richardson ’14 (Coventry, Conn.) paced the Monks with a 72 (38-34) and finished tied for third overall.

Monks Finish in Tie for Sixth at Maine State ChampionshipSeptember 18, 2011CUMBERLAND, ME – Saint Joseph’s College finished in a tie for sixth with 657 team strokes in the 2011 State of Maine Championship Golf Tournament at Val Halla Golf Course over the weekend. First-year golfer Steve Simonds (Steep Falls, Maine) paced the Monks with a 160 (79-81) card and finished in a tie for 15th out of 55 participants in the two-day event.

Monks Top Huskies in 2011 Opener, 322-324September 01, 2011GORHAM, ME – Saint Joseph’s defeated University of Southern Maine 322-324 in the SJC-USM Golf Kick-Off Classic at the Gorham Country Club on Thursday afternoon. Sophomore Kevin Richardson (Coventry, Conn.) garnered medalist honors with a 76 card in the event, which was the 2011 season-opener for both teams.
