STANDISH, ME - The Great Northeast Athletic
Conference has announced their first weekly swimming awards and
Hannah Gajewski '12 (Biddeford,
ME/McAuley) is the Rookie of the Week.
In her first collegiate event, Gajewski notched individual top
finishes in the 200 Free (2:08.93) and 200 IM (2:25.91) events and
was also a member of the winning 200 IM and 200 Free relay teams
against Colby Sawyer on October 25th. The rookie swimmer recorded
individual firsts in the 50 Breast (36.23), 50 Fly (30.66) and 100
Free (59.19) events in a win over Husson University on November
1st. In two meets thus far, Gajewski has recorded four individual
records for the second-year program.
Saint Joseph's will travel to Chicopee, MA on Sunday, November 16th
to compete against Elms College in a meet that begins at 11:00 AM.
