BOSTON, MA – Simmons College defeated Saint Joseph's, 145-94, in a women's swim meet on Saturday afternoon. Hannah Gajewski '12 (Biddeford, ME/McAuley) earned a pair of top finishes and added a runner-up effort in the competition.
Gajewski won the 200-Free (2:10.01) and 100-IM (1:08.37) events and capped the day with a second-place finish in the 100-Back (1:09.65). Anne Roberts '12 (Hopkinton, NH) was the top swimmer in the 50-Back with a 34.53 performance.
Rose Maccarrone '12 (Hingham, MA) placed second in the 50-Breast (37.35) and Christine Cote '13 (Biddeford, ME) finished second in the 100-Free (1:02.35) event.
Simmons will host Western New England College next Saturday, January 29 at 11:00 AM. The Monks will host Gordon College on February 5th at 1:00 PM.
