Regis Defeats Saint Joseph's, 135-108

WESTON, MA – Regis College topped Saint Joseph's College, 135-108, in women's swimming action on Friday evening. Freshman Lauren Halvorsen (South Portland, Maine) won the 200-Free (2:13.63) and 100-Free (1:03.56) and finished as the runner-up in the 500-Free (6:02.44) in the losing effort.

Other top swimmers included sophomore Alexandra Krasco (Melrose, Mass.), who raced to a top finish in the 200-Back (2:35.18) and placed second in the 50-Back (34.18) and 50-Fly (33.73) events, and sophomore Anne Fougere (Warner, N.H.), who finished second in the 50-Breast (37.09) and 100-Breast (1:20.58) races.

Sophomore Brooke Huberdeau (North Andover, Mass.) was the runner-up in the 200-Free (2:14.51) and sophomore Olivia Pickering (South Portland, Maine/Cheverus) placed second in the 200-Back (2:41.27) event.

Saint Joseph's will host Husson University on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
