Monks Fall to Wheaton, Babson in Double-Dual Action

NORTON, MA – Saint Joseph's suffered a pair of setbacks in double-dual swimming action at Wheaton College on Saturday afternoon.

For the women, freshman Lauren Halvorsen (South Portland, Maine) placed third in the 1000-Free (12:27.70) while first-year Ben Johnson (Belmont, Mass.) broke his own 200-Fly record with a 2:13.52 time and placed fourth in the event for the men.

The women fell to the host-Lyons by a 218-45 score and also lost to Babson College, 203-60, in double-dual action.

The men lost to Babson by a 235-40 margin and Wheaton by a 246-39 score.

Saint Joseph's returns to action on Monday when the Monks host University of New England in a 1:00 PM start.
